Rock of Ages Carwash & Storage LLC Auction Terms
1. All sales are Final. 2. There is a 100 deposit for all bidders at the end of sale will be returned after the unit is cleaned out. 3. All sales are CASH ONLY or CREDIT CARD. If paying with credit card there will be a 2.25 percent fee added to the sale. 4. All payments are due IN FULL upon completion of Public Sale. 5. Nothing shall be removed from the units until the end of Public Sale. 6. Anyone may bid in the Public Sale. However, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We may not let you bid if we feel you are a relative of the person whose items are being bid on. 7. If you are the winning bidder, you are responsible for ALL contents inside the storage unit. The unit must be completely cleaned out within 72 hours of the end of the Public Sale. Failure to do so, will result in a 100 fine, and you may not be able to participate in any future Public Sales. 8. You will be given a temporary number to access the gate for this period. 9. We remove our lock the day you show up to pay for your unit you will be responsible to secure your unit after our lock is removed. 9. You cannot retract any bid. Doing so will prevent you from participating in any future Public Sales. 10. The units being auctioned are delinquent in rent, and under Ohio statutes 5322.03, the contents of their units will be sold at public sale. 11. If more than 72 hours are required to remove the contents of the unit, you may rent the storage space from us at the regular monthly rate. 12. Our garbage dumpster is for OUR USE ONLY. You may NOT dispose of any items from the unit you were the winning bidder for. Doing so will result in a 100 fine and will prevent you from participating in future Public Sales. 13. Please return all personal items such as photos, medical records, etc. as a courtesy Please return these items in a plastic bag. 14. All bids will be an open bid. 15. All units will be sold as a whole. 16. We may choose to pull any unit from Public Sale at our discretion, prior to the Public Sale of the unit. We make ALL reasonable efforts to ensure that all of our customers have every opportunity to prevent their units from being sold at Auction or Public Sale. 17. All Public Sale dates begin at 1 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The Public Sales proceed in the order listed and begin shortly after the conclusion of the previous Public Sale.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Rock of Ages Carwash & Storage LLC) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
