BTA Self Storage- Terrell Auction Terms
Contact the facility immediately when auction ends to arrange payment and pick up contents of unit. You will not be allowed to enter the storage unit or touch any items prior to bidding. Storage Auctions has final say on all issues. Buyers must be at least 18 years old to bid. You must have a paid invoice in order to pick up unit contents. You must provide a valid Photo ID to the Site Manager. You are only allowed on property to remove items during normal business hours of facility. A refundable cleaning deposit is required for each unit purchased, cash only. If the unit is not cleaned out in the allotted time, the deposit will not be returned and the items left in the unit will be considered abandoned and will thus become property of the facility. Sales Tax may apply. If you have a resale license, bring a copy and present before payment. Payment in full and cleaning deposit is required prior to gaining access to unit. All sales are final and bids are for entire unit. You must bring your own cylinder lock with you to secure the unit or purchase one from the facility. You must remove all contents and broom sweep the unit within 72 hours of end of auction. There are no onsite dumpsters. If you would like to rent the unit after the auction, the manager can assist you with this. Smoking is prohibited on property. Advise manager once you have completely emptied unit. The manager will inspect that the unit is clean and then refund the cleaning deposit. No pets allowed at facility. PERSONAL ITEMS FOUND WITHIN THE UNIT SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE SITE MANAGER IMMEDIATELY. Cleaning deposits are required for every unit and are as followed 7.5x10s and smaller is $100 10x10 to 10x20 is $200 12x20, 10x25, 10x30, 15x15, 15x20 is $300 13x30 and larger is $375 Parking: $250 Cash only
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (BTA Self Storage- Terrell) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
