Tuscola Self Storage Auction Terms
72 Hour Cleanup, no dumpster privilege, $100.00 cleaning deposit required. Payment. All payments must be made in cash, cashier's check, or money order at the conclusion of he sale. if the are not made in full within maximum 72 hours after the conclusion of the sale the facility in its sole discretion may sell the items to the next highest bidder at the last bid that bidder made or the facility may sell the goods any other person at the second highest bibber's bid price. All items are sold "as-is" with no representations or warranties. Removal of items: All items must be removed by 5pm 72 hours from the sale date. A cash deposit of $100.00 is required, refundable only after payment in full is received and all other conditions of this bidder agreement is satisfied. Abandonment. Any items are not removed by 5pm will be deemed abandoned, will no longer be the property of the bidder and may be discarded, donated, or sold with all proceeds going to the facility owner, and any deposit will be retained by the facility owner. Cleaning out unit: All units must be left "broom" clean otherwise deposit will not be refunded.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Tuscola Self Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
