The sale of property is AS is, where is without any representations or warranties as to the value of the nature of the property. Units must be be COMPLETELY EMPTIED WITHIN 48 business hours of close of auction. Dumpster's are not available on site. 100 cash deposit required to access the unit will be returned once the unit is cleaned out. No checks will be accepted. Cash or debit cards only will be accepted at the location. U-haul team members, family members, or friends cannot buy or bid on units for auction at U-haul owned facility. U-haul reserves the right to refuse any bids. All sales are final. Absolutely no refunds! if unit is not emptied within 48 hours, unit will be relisted again. winner must provide a copy of current drivers license and complete mailing address, and phone number. Tax is added at the facility unless you bring in your tax exempt certificate. Please contact the facility for hours of operation.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Prescott) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
