A-American Self Storage - Dacono Auction Terms
NOTICE TO BUYERS This is to inform the buyers prior to the sale that all bidders must register with StorageAuctions.com and by doing so acknowledge these rules of the auction: 1. A-American Self Storage reserves the right to cancel any sale if the bids are, in the discretion of A-American Self Storage, unreasonable. 2. Buyer acknowledges that they are bidding on all items within the unit and all items must be removed and the unit must be cleaned. In the event that Buyer does not remove all items or does not leave the unit clean, A-American Self Storage may charge the Buyer its costs in removing such items and/or cleaning the unit. 3. When the Buyer has been awarded the unit they must pay cash upon conclusion of the auction for the unit in the amount of the bid A-American Self Storage shall furnish the Buyer with a cash receipt upon payment of the unit contents. 4. The Buyer must provide a $100 cash security deposit per unit and must remove all goods within a 72-hour period, or the goods will become the property of A-American Self Storage, unless, the Buyer signs a lease agreement for said unit, and pays the current month's rent in full. Failure to remove all goods or sign a lease will result in Buyer forfeiting the security deposit and incurring a disposal fee. Buyer is responsible for securing the unit holding such property for the 72-hour period. Buyers who have previously abandoned goods and are not banned from bidding will be required to provide a $300 cash deposit per unit. No deposits will be returned until all units have been cleared and property removed from the facility. 5. It is the Buyer's responsibility to immediately return all personal property, papers, photos, legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, yearbooks, etc. to A-American Self Storage for return to tenant in the future. 6. The Buyer acknowledges that in certain circumstances A-American Self Storage may contact the Buyer and request that certain items be purchased back in order to prevent any court action with said tenant, the Buyer also agrees to sell to A-American Self Storage such items for (a) the cost at which Buyer purchased such items plus (b) any reasonable actual costs incurred by Buyer in connection with such items. 7. This agreement pertains to this and all future sales this Buyer attends at any A-American Self Storage facility. 8. A-American Self Storage reserves the right to refuse entrance to any Buyer at future auctions due to failure to follow these rules or any other unacceptable behavior at the auction. 9. Bidders acknowledge that bid rigging and / or collusion is a felony and a violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act. All suspected instances will be reported to the U.S. Justice Department. 10. All bidders agree to hold harmless and indemnify A-American Self Storage, auctioneer, and auction company of any and all claims. 11. Bidders must be at least 18 years old with valid ID. 12. Firearms are not included in the sale. 13. Photography and video recordings are not permitted on A-American Self Storage property without the written consent of A-American Storage Management Co., Inc. 14. Employees, previous employees and family members are not permitted to participate in any A-American Self Storage auctions as this creates an unnecessary conflict of interest. Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (A-American Self Storage - Dacono) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
