Anytime Storage- Farmington Auction Terms
Winning Bidder Rules: $100 Cleaning Deposit will be returned to you upon completion of the following: -REMOVE ALL ITEMS FROM THE UNIT; leave nothing behind! -The following items MUST be RETURNED to the OFFICE: (Please box or bag all items to be returned, mark with Unit # & bring to the office) --Personal financial, medical, legal or passport documents/records. --Family photos/sentimental items that are of no value to a buyer. --Report All hidden vehicle, boat, or watercraft discoveries!! (By Law -- storage unit purchases DO NOT include hidden vehicles, boats or watercraft & MUST be reported to the office upon discovery. Vehicles, boats & watercraft require additional auction processing guidelines. Removal of these items is considered theft and we must report it to the police. Examples: ATV's, motorcycles, scooters, jet-skis, water-skis, trailers etc.) -UNIT MUST BE SWEPT CLEAN; NO EXCEPTIONS! (Brooms may be borrowed from the office.) -ALL TRASH MUST BE TAKEN OFF-SITE; NO DUMPSTER ON SITE! -You have 24 hours pay for the unit and 72 hours to clean out the unit. (If you need additional time, please call the location to make arrangements.) -For building entry, please call the location -You must be 18 years old to bid. -You must provide a valid photo I.D. to the Site Manager. -You must bring your own lock to secure the unit. -You will not be allowed to enter the storage unit or touch any items prior to bidding and final payment. -The Manager has final say on all issues, including whether to refuse a bid if a bidder has disrupted an auction or violated any rules. -Payment is required within 24 hours of when you purchase a unit. -Sales tax may apply. If you have a resale license, bring a copy and present before payment. -Please advise the manager once you have completely emptied the unit. The manager will inspect that the unit is clean and then refund your cleaning deposit. -If you would like to rent the unit after the auction, the manager can assist you. -Smoking is prohibited on storage facility properties. -No Pets allowed at facility -Respect the Property, Managers, Tenants and other Buyers at all times. -Access hours are during office hours only. -Unit maybe located at 1 of 3 locations in Farmington, 7231 E Main St, 2016 N Hutton Ave, or 1630 W Murray Rd.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Anytime Storage- Farmington) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
