Bolt Storage - Springfield Auction Terms
DEBIT OR CREDIT ARE THE ONLY ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS You will receive an email instruction on how to pay and access the unit you won within 1 hour of the auction ending. Please wait for this email. You will not be allowed to enter the storage unit or touch any items prior to bidding. You must have a PAID Invoice in order to pick up unit contents. A refundable cleaning deposit will also be charged depending on the unit size or content of the unit. $100 for a small unit, $150 for a medium-sized unit, $200 for a large unit Sales tax may apply. If you have a resale license, you are responsible for letting us know and providing a copy via email. Immediate payment is required prior to gaining access to the unit. No payment within 24 hours after the auction has ended will prompt us to request for backup bidders. You must remove all contents and broom sweep the unit within the required clean out time. Failure to clean the unit within the required clean out time will result in forfeiture of cleaning deposit. When the unit has been emptied and properly cleaned, you will take a photo (unit number should be visible), and send it via text message or email. Your cleaning deposit will not be refunded until this photo has been received. You are not allowed to use the on-site dumpsters. If you would like to rent the unit after the auction, please contact our customer service. All sales are final. We reserve the right to refuse any bid at our discretion.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Bolt Storage - Springfield) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
