Guardian Storage - Waterfront Auction Terms
IMPORTANT ALL ATTENDEES AND BIDDERS MUST READ By participating in the auction, each bidder and attendee agrees to be bound by the following Rules and Regulations The winning bidder purchases the entire storage unit and all contents therein, unless otherwise noted. All payments must be made in cash and made within 48 hours of the end of the Auction Public Sale otherwise the unit will be offered to the next highest bidder. Buyer forfeits all rights to all goods not removed within 48 hours and agrees that Guardian Storage may resell or dispose of the goods without further notice Buyer, or any refund of monies paid. You must provide a valid Photo I.D. to the Site Manager. There will be a $100 deposit on each unit purchased per unit. The deposit will be refunded when you leave the unit broom clean as determined by an inspection by the Property Manager. Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from the premises. No dumpsters available. The tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus canceling the auction up until the cash payment is received from the winning bidder unless otherwise stated in the states lien law or by the storage facility. All items purchased today are purchased as is, where is. Guardian Storage does not warranty or guarantee any item purchased. ALL SALES ARE FINAL Guardian Storage reserves the right to cancel the sale for any reason. Sales are not concluded until all paperwork is completed, and tenant accounts are verified for any payments received prior to the transaction with the winning bidder at the property. This is a public sale. Guardian Storage makes no guarantees or representations regarding the privacy, security, or the confidentiality of your information. The Buyer may not resale goods on Guardian Storage property. Guardian Storage is not responsible for any damage injury to persons or property that occurs from participating in this sale. The buyer shall return all photos, documents e.g., birth certificates and passports, and other personal items to the property office. Purchaser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Guardian Storage and the owner of the facility for all claims and demands relating to the Personal Property. Guardian Storage Employees, family and friends are strictly prohibited from bidding on and buying units at auction public sale.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Guardian Storage - Waterfront) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
