The Storage Spot Auction Terms
If you bid on the Delinquent unit you are liable for the winning bid. MUST PROVIDE VALID ID. 24 Hours to Reach out to Facility, 72 Hours for clean out. For units 10x20 and smaller there is a $100 cleaning Deposit and $200 for units 10X25 and bigger. This Deposit is Refundable so long as the unit is cleared out and Broom Swept. If the unit is not fully cleared out then the Facility keeps the Deposit and uses it for the cleaning expense that will be acquire to clean the rest out. If you need more then 72 hour to clean the unit out you do have the option to rent the unit out at the standard rate that they unit is going for. NO DUMPSTER SERVICE. FACILITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCLE THE AUCTION ALL THE WAY UP TO WHEN THE WINNING BIDDER COMES TO CLAIM UNIT.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (The Storage Spot) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
