East Side Storage Auction Terms
48 hour cleanup, no dumpster privileges, $50.00 cleaning deposit Credit/Debit Card accepted for payment of unit. No cash or check . Winning bidder must contact East Side Storage after the sale has ended. Bidder has 48 hours (from the time the sale has ended) to contact the facility, pay the amount due and remove the contents from the storage unit. The Bid and Deposit must both be paid by Credit/Debit. Any items left in the unit after the 48 hour deadline will be forfeited and East Side Storage will have the right to dispose of the contents in any way they see fit. The cleaning deposit will be refunded back on the credit/debit card after everything is removed from the unit and it is broom swept. Bidder must notify East Side Storage when this is completed and the manager will inspect the unit and refund the deposit. Until the full payment is received, East Side Storage has the right to cancel the sale at any time. Bidder remedy for a cancelled sale is limited to the return of the money paid for the unit at the time of auction. Goods purchased are in an AS-IS condition. No guarantees or warranties of any type or kind are expressed or implied with the purchase of any items.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (East Side Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
