Storage Inn Auction Terms
Auction states 72 hour clean out but only because there are limited options to select. Unit is expected to be cleaned out within 5 days of the close of auction to allow for weekend work. There are no dumpster privileges on site and a $100 refundable cleaning deposit required. Must provide valid name and phone number to be setup in our payment collection system. Winner of auction is expected to contact the seller within 24 hours of auction ending to pay the account balance in full. Storage Inn will inspect the unit within 48 hours once we are made aware it has been cleaned out. Deposits can take 48-72 hours to be refunded.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Storage Inn) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
