U-Haul Moving & Storage of N. Irby St. Auction Terms
Pay by cash or debit/credit card only at location. No checks will be accepted. Tax added at facility unless you bring in your tax-exempt certificate. Any U-Haul dollies, pads or carts located inside a unit are not part of the sale and they are not for sale and must be left at the location. We strongly recommend that all non-monetary value items (examples: birth/death certificates, personal pictures/albums, military papers, thumb-drives, marriage/divorce papers, social security/government papers, medical papers, urns/ashes, etc. be returned to the U-Haul Center's General Manager. You have 72 hours to move the items out. If the unit is not emptied by the end of the 72 hour move out period then you will be banned from future bidding and will lose the unit and the $100 cleaning deposit. There are no dumpster privileges or re-use privileges. Again, all items in the unit must be removed from the property. Free month of storage does not apply to auctioned units. U-Haul Self-Storage reserves the right to refuse any bid or bidder. All sales are final and absolutely no refunds.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (U-Haul Moving & Storage of N. Irby St. ) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
