Dixie Self Storage- Bastrop Auction Terms
PLEASE READ ALL TERMS: You have 24 hours to pay for your unit once the auction has ended. You have 72 hours to clean and have the unit vacated once the auction has ENDED, not when we receive payment. No dumpster privileges. There is a $100 cash cleaning deposit per unit, Unit must be broom swept to be considered clean. Please call prior to pickup to schedule an appointment. Payments will be taken at the main office at 10520 Reeves Rd. Bastrop, LA 71220. Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM & Saturday 9AM-1PM. Office contact #: 318-237-8924. Must bring your own personal lock for the unit, we do not provide locks. As per La Storage Lien Law, delinquent tenants have the right to pay off their debt until the auction sale has been finalized. All bidders must adhere to the same rules/policies while on property as tenants and customers.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Dixie Self Storage- Bastrop) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
