East Cherokee Storage Auction Terms
1. The owner has the right of refusal. 2. Current tenants cannot purchase their units. 3. Call the property to ensure they will be open during your arrival, as office closures may not be posted on the website. 4. You must clean out during office hours only. 5. There is a 72-hour clean-out period from the time of sale. No codes will be given. 6. A $100 cash-only cleaning deposit is required per unit. 7. You must take everything, as there are no dumpster privileges. 8. The bidder forfeits the deposit and any contents left in the unit after 72 hours, with no exceptions. 9. Leaving items behind or on the premises will result in being banned from future auction purchases for properties under our management.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (East Cherokee Storage ) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
