Auction Terms Buyer acknowledges that he/she is bidding on ALL items within the unit and ALL items must be removed and the unit must be left clean, ready to rent. Buyer must bring photo ID and receipt and must pay cash for the unit in the amount of his/her highest bid. Buyer must have removed all goods and have unit ready to inspect, before 4:00pm, Friday, Jan. 31, 2025 or the deposit will be forfeited and any remaining goods will become property of the storage facility, unless the Buyer signs a lease agreement for said unit, and pays cash for the current month's rent. If the final day to pickup goods is the last day of the month, and the unit is not cleaned out and inspected before 4pm, the buyer will be responsible for the following months rent. Buyer understands all walkways, hallways and driveways MUST BE KEPT CLEAR AT ALL TIMES. If items are left you, the Buyer, will be blocked from future bidding and your deposit will be forfeited. Items must be picked up during the business hours of M-F 9am - 5pm, the buyer will not be permitted to stay on property after hours. It is the Buyer's responsibility to return all personal papers, photos, legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, yearbooks, etc. to the manager to return to the customer. Facility manager will collect a $100.00** cash only cleaning deposit, and will be refunded upon the following, removed all items from unit, sweep unit out, remove spills, etc. leaving the unit in clean/working order, ready to rent. THERE ARE NO DUMPSTER PRIVILEGES ** Unit will be inspected by the site manager before deposit is returned. No Deposits will be returned after 4pm.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Fieldstown Rd Self Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
