Keyport Storage Peoria Auction Terms
Hours: You can only have access to unit during business hours of the facility. Payment must me made at the facility same business day to allow the facility to close out the account. NO CASH ACCEPTED Removal of items: All items must be removed within 48 Hours of sale. Items CANNOT be discarded in the facility dumpster. A cash deposit of $50 is required depending on unit size, refundable only after ALL Items are removed and unit is left broom swept. Abandonment: Any items not removed within the 48 Hours will be deemed abandoned, will no longer be the property of the high bidder and may be discarded, donated, or sold to the next highest bidder with all proceeds going to the facility owner, and any deposit will be retained by the facility owner. Lien-holder right of redemption: All sales are subject to the rights of owners and lienholders of vehicles, trailers, boats and outboard motors to redeem the property immediately prior to the gavel falling. All items are sold as is with no representations or warranties from the facility or auctioneer. Securing unit after auction: The high bidder must immediately put his lock on the unit when payment has been made at the facility. FACILITY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS TAKEN FROM THE UNIT AFTER OUR LOCKS ARE REMOVED FOR THE HIGH BIDDER. Cleaning out unit: All units must be left clean with all items removed no later than the deadline stated above. All deposit amounts shall be retained if the unit is not left in this state. The dumpster on the property may not be used by buyers. Failure of buyer to abide by this or any other sale term will result in denial of future bidding rights.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Keyport Storage Peoria) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
