Storage Choice - Long Beach Auction Terms
72 hours to pay and have unit won cleaned out. Pay must be by CASH or Credit/Debit Card only. No checks will be accepted. $100 CASH cleaning deposit required. Any Uhaul dollies or pads in a room are not part of the sale.They are Not For Sale and must be brought in to the office. No Dumpster Privilege. Units must be completely emptied and swept clean. Nothing should be left behind in the unit purchased, if items are left you will be blocked from future bidding at our facilities. If unit is not emptied in noted time frame you will lose the deposit and the room. If you choose to rent the unit you must contact management to complete a contract in your name before the end of the 72 hour time frame. Uhaul Free Month of Storage offer does not apply to auctioned units.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Storage Choice - Long Beach) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
