Lockbox Storage - Irvington Auction Terms
This is an unmanned facility. Please get in touch with (402) 333-0667 to schedule a time to make payment and access the unit. 1. AUCTION DEPOSIT RECEIPT 2. The winning bidder must contact the facility by 4:00 pm Central Time the same day as the auction closes. Upon winning notification, the Winning Bidder is to email their confirmation email from StorageAuctions.com along with a picture of their government-issued photo ID to irvington@lockbox-storage.com, then call the office at (402) 333-0667 to confirm the day and time to pay and remove all items in the unit. The Winning Bidder may also bring this information to the Bennington office for processing. A. RELEASE OF OWNERS LIABILITY FOR BODILY INJURY: Owner, Owners agents, and employees shall not be liable to Winning Bidder, invitees, employees, or guests for injury or death as a result of the use of the Space or the Facility, even if the active or passive acts or omissions or negligence of the Owner, Owners agents, or employees causes such injury. B. REMOVAL OF CONTENTS: The winning bidder must pay the $200 Cleaning Deposit and Winning Bid Amount in full before gaining access to the storage unit. All items in the storage unit must be removed. The storage unit must be cleaned and verified by the Property Manager to return the deposit. Use of the property dumpster or the surrounding area is strictly prohibited and will result in a forfeit of the deposit. Access is between 5 am and 10 pm on the dates agreed upon and listed in Section 1D of the Auction Deposit Receipt. The Winning Bidder is to notify the Property Manager when the unit has been cleaned out so the inspection can commence. C. PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT: Payment must be in cash or card. The deposit payment and Winning Bid amount are to be two separate payments. The refund will be made to the same credit card.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Lockbox Storage - Irvington) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
