Congratulations on winning your auction! Before heading to the property, please note that payment is required and access information must be provided. As we are remotely managed, we kindly ask that you call us at (252)-512-6363 to complete payment and receive the necessary details for property access. ONLY Card payments are accepted, and the winning bidder MUST empty the unit. $100.00 Cleaning Deposit Required All items must be removed from the unit and taken offsite. The unit must be left in broom swept conditions with all items and trash removed. A photo of a cleaned-out unit with unit number visible must be submitted before receiving your cleaning deposit back. Failure to do any of these will result in you not receiving your cleaning deposit back. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to assisting you!
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Forward Storage New Bern HWY 17) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
