Freeway Storage Auction Terms
Only cash will be accepted for payment of purchased unit. 24 hour clean out, no dumpster privileges, $100 clean out fee that will be returned upon clean out completion. Please call 24 hours of winning BID for verification and to schedule pick up time. A lock and key will be provided to secure unit during clean out in case you need to leave the property. The lock and key must be returned upon completion of cleaning out unit. Failure to remove all goods or sign receipt will result in buyer forfeiting the $100 cash security deposit and may have additional fees charged for cost of disposal of items left in the unit. It is the buyers responsibility to immediately return all personal property, papers, photos, legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, yearbooks, etc. to the storage facility for return to the tenant. You must have a paid invoice from Storage Auctions to pick up unit contents and must present a valid driver's license. Smoking is prohibited on the property. Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Freeway Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
