Auction Terms and Conditions: This unit has a 2-day pickup timeline. This means that after the auction has ended, you have 2 days to entirely remove the contents of the unit. Deposits are $200 per unit purchased. This facility only accepts cash bid and deposit amounts. Pick must be set up via appointment and during office hours Tuesday - Fri: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. The unit must be returned empty and cleaned; any personal items being returned are to be delivered to the office to be returned to the previous tenant. It is the manager's discretion to accept or not. Please Note: Personal Items are considered: family photographs, birth or marriage certificates, tax returns, medical or bank records, cremation ashes. Damages caused by the buyer or buyers' associates while on the property are the buyer's responsibility. The buyer is responsible for the actual repair or replacement cost. No one under the age of 18 is permitted on the property without an accompanying adult. Vehicles are not sold as part of the auction. Anything discovered in a unit with a VIN# is not part of the auction. No title is obtained or will be turned over to the winning buyer. Anything that is sold is considered as parts. Any firearms found in the storage unit must be turned over to local law enforcement. Buyers can claim if legally allowed by local law enforcement at their discretion. Nothing is to be disposed of on the property. Everything must be removed from the unit to receive your deposit back. Sorting goods or repacking is allowed on the property if it does not block any tenants or cause a nuisance to others. No sales are to take place on the property. Anything being sold needs to be viewed and processed off-site. No online listings may be done with property name, address, phone number, images, or likeness. Please conduct all business pertaining to the purchased goods off-site.

Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Des Moines Way Self Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
