MD Storage Auction Terms
-Full payment is due immediately upon winning the auction. -A refundable clean-out deposit ($100) is required and returned only after the unit is emptied and broom-cleaned. -Buyer has 72 hours to fully remove all contents. -No dumpster use is provided unless explicitly stated. -Items left after the deadline may be deemed abandoned, and the deposit forfeited. -Any legal documents, financial records, photographs, IDs, or personal memorabilia found in the unit must be returned to Mason Dixon Storage staff immediately. -Purchased items may not be sold or traded on the premises. -Items may not be used to settle debts or exchanged with Mason Dixon Storage or any of its affiliates. -All bids are binding. No refunds or returns. -All decisions by Mason Dixon Storage management are final. -Mason Dixon Storage assumes no liability for injury, damage, or loss resulting from auction participation or unit contents. -Buyers participate at their own risk.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (MD Storage) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
