Facility is remote managed with no office on site. You must contact 606-802-7190 to schedule an appointment to pickup items. 72 hour cleanup from the time of auction ending. No dumpster onsite. All contents must be removed from unit and the unit must be swept clean. Deposit is as follows: 10x10 unit - $100 / 10x15 unit - $150 / 10x20 unit - $200. Deposit will be refunded by facility within 48 hours of cleanout completion. Refund my take additional time to reflect in your account based on bank delivery times. If paying by credit card, a 4% credit card processing fee will be added to both the amount of sale and the deposit. This fee will not be refunded with the deposit.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Smart Space Storage - 35 E Old Norwood Rd, Science Hill, KY) reserves the right to cancel or postpone auction in its sole discretion, including for (but not limited to) compliance with applicable lien and other laws and regulations.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a non-refundable auction fee for purposes of the staff, paperwork and other logistical expenses to undertake the auction equal to the greater of (i) $10 or (ii) 15% of the unit sale price at auction.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged a down payment of 10% of the unit sales price as a deposit that will be applied toward payment of the unit sales price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
