Meeting Street Mini Storage Units Auction Terms
Meeting Street Mini Storage - Auction Terms 1. Payment must made by CASH ONLY. Personal checks or credit cards will not be accepted. Photo ID and signature is required at time of payment. 2. Applicable sales tax will be added to all sales unless successful bidder provides documentation that the bidder is exempt from said sales tax. 3. Firearms or ammunition found within the unit must be turned over to Meeting Street Mini Storage for proper disposal. 4. Bidders must also return any photos, documentation, or personal items to the facility office. 5. Auctions are with RESERVE thus all units are subject to be withdrawn from a sale at anytime by the auctioneer or Meeting Street Mini Storage. 6. The sale is not deemed complete until FULL payment is received by the facility office from the high bidder and all property is removed from the facility property, or a lease is executed for rent of the unit. 7. Bidder remedy for any cancelled sale is limited to the return of money paid for the unit at time of auction. 8. The high bidder is required to pay an additional clean up fee of $75, cash only, until all items within the unit are removed from the property, *There is NO dumpster available at the facility & bidder releases the facility from responsibility of disposing said property. Upon removing all items and leaving a clean unit the deposit will be refunded in full at the time of move out. 9. All items purchased from the sale are to be removed from the facility property within 48 hours of the auction ending. ALL items that have been paid for and not removed within 48 hours will be disposed of and the cleaning fee will not be refunded. 10. The facility is not held liable for any goods purchased at the time of the sale. ALL items purchased are in a AS-IS condition. No warranties or guarantees of any type or kind are expressed or implied with the purchased items. 11. Bidders are to not resell any items on the premises of the property without written consent from the facility office. 12. ANY violation of the above rules will result in termination of sale and the exclusion of the bidder from any future sales.
Notice to Bidders
Lien laws must always be followed. The Storage Facility (Meeting Street Mini Storage Units) reserves all rights to cancel or postpone auctions at any point.
All bids on the site are in $10 increments.
There is a $10 minimum or 15% auction fee (whichever is greater) for every unit won in addition to the unit sale price.
Upon winning an auction you will be automatically charged the auction fee along with 10% of the unit sale price.
Once the initial payment is collected you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance to be paid directly to the facility. You must have an invoice in order to access the unit.
Buyers must follow the facility’s auction terms. Auction terms are not created by StorageAuctions.com.
StorageAuctions.com does not allow last second bids to win. Bidding in the last two minutes will reset the time clock to 2 minutes, then an additional bid(s) will reset the 2-minute timer.
All sales are final and considered “as is.” Bids are considered a contractual agreement that must be fulfilled.
Units must be completely cleaned out and all trash must be removed from premises. No dumpsters privileges unless location specified.
Failure to fully completely clean out the unit will result in penalties.
